YMCA of the Brandywine Valley personal trainers are nationally-certified professionals who work with weekend warriors, stay-at-home moms, health seekers, CEO’s, athletes, and all other fitness aficionados to get the most out of their lives. Whether you want to prepare for a ski trip, train for an athletic event, improve your golf or tennis game, or just need a little push, personal training at the YMCA is the program for you!

TRX Personal Training
Take your training to the next level with TRX! TRX is suspension training that utilizes gravity and movement to generate neuromuscular responses that change body position. The movements integrate strength and balance into a single dynamic action that gets you results faster! Great for all ages and abilities.
Small Group TRX Training
Want big results? Go small. TRX Small Group Training sparks your interest and revitalizes your routine. Work on strength, functional training, flexibility and balance during this progressive 8-week session. Groups are limited to 4 to 8 participants, so there's plenty of individual attention to go around.
1-on-1 Training Packages
Work one-on-one with a nationally certified personal trainer in a 60-minute session devoted entirely to you. Packages include an exercise program and progress charts.
Partner Training Packages
You and a buddy train with one of our certified personal trainers. Includes progress charts.
Group Personal Training
Get personal attention during personal training with 3 or more friends.
Quick Start Personal Training Package
Perfect for the bride and groom, the expectant or postpartum mother or the young teen just starting out. The package gives you a fitness assessment & two 1-hour sessions with a personal trainer.
Stick-to-it 5 Package
Initial fitness assessment, 5 1-hour personal training sessions & a follow-up fitness assessment.
Stick-to-it 10 package
Initial fitness assessment, 10 1-hour personal training sessions & a follow up fitness assessment.
Weight Loss Package
Initial fitness assessment, metabolism test to identify calorie needs, meal planning session, 2, 1-hour personal training sessions, and follow-up fitness assessment.
1 personal training session with metabolic testing
3 personal training sessions, 1 Nutrition Consultation and 1 FREE Metabolic Testing
5 personal training sessions with metabolic testing
5 personal training sessions with initial and follow-up fitness assessments
A one-hour comprehensive testing of your overall fitness level: sub-maximal cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, blood pressure, resting heart rate and body composition.The certified trainer will review your results with you and give you a copy.
