They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.
While CrossFit challenges the world's fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program.
East Chestnut CrossFit membership is $99/month for unlimited classes. You must be a YMCA member to join and those new to CrossFit need to complete the on-ramp program, which is an additional fee.

As someone who has regularly worked out over the past several years, Crossfit has continued my transformation of body and mind. It has, simply put, met me where I am, both physically and mentally. My journey to a better me until this point has been filled with peaks and valleys in terms of ability and desire as it pertains to injury, surgery, and recovery.
