You and your friends can enjoy this unique property, located on 50 acres of private grounds, in the heart of an arboretum and nature preserve, with all the elegance and decor of an aristocratic country estate. The chateau is perfect for celebrating any special event in your life or traveling with a group of friends.  The property accommodates 12 people (ages 12 and up), so gather your friends and share in the bidding.

France is one of the most visited countries in the world with a rich history and culture. Many of Western France’s top tourist destinations are within reach of the chateau:

  • The beaches of Normandy
  • Mont St. Michel
  • Wineries of the Loire Valley
  • The cliffs of Étretat
  • A variety of coastal and channel islands
  • Medieval towns and many other activities

All booking arrangements and reservations are handled between the winner of the auction and the English speaking chateau owner. Travel is not included. 

The closest town and train station is in Vannes (one-half hour away). Rennes and Nantes are the closest regional airports. Both have flights to Paris and the UK.

The winner may choose a one-week stay (Saturday to Saturday) in 2018 or plan ahead for 2019.  The rental season runs from mid-May to mid-September.

The chateau is fully equipped with all utilities and household linen is provided. A caretaker comes every day (included) for 1 hour to take care of light cleaning duties. Concierge service is also available to arrange for exceptional once-in-a-lifetime experiences including wine tasting, cooking classes, chef catered meals, airport transfers, tour guides, etc. (additional fees may apply).

Other Notes:

  • No children under age 12
  • Guests are responsible for their own food.
  • This property is not suitable for large celebrations, weddings, or other events.
  • Transportation is not included.
