YMCA Earth Service Corps

The Earth Service Corps program was founded in 2001 and has provided middle and high school students with an engaging environmental education program for over a decade. Core activities include: Wildlife Science and Habitat Restoration, Sustainable Agriculture, Animal Care, and Environmental Career Exploration. Through service projects, field trips, and expeditions, our students become strong, confident and responsible environmental leaders. The group meets each Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, with each week rotating between Environmental presentations and hikes, service project planning, guest speakers, and team-building games. For more information please contact Tony Geiger at tgeiger@ymcagbw.org.
