Enjoy relaxing music and flowing stretching. Move through traditional stretching postures while slowing the breath, focusing the mind, and opening and stretching the body.*This class will be taught as a passive practice that focuses on connective tissues of the body. Yin poses are designed to keep the muscles (elastic-like tissue) relatively inactive while using gravity and time to skillfully place stress on the fascia (plastic-like tissue). Poses are held for 3-7 minutes. Yin yoga helps maintain functional mobility, prevents degeneration and increases hydration.
