Meet Tera Baccile, Membership Associate at YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown

Tera joined team YGBW as a Membership Associate in November of 2023. She has a passion for pickleball and plays nearly every day!

Tera has been playing pickleball since April of 2022. At the time, she knew it was a sport that was exploding in popularity and was interested in learning more. That's when fate intervened. 

Tera saw a nearby fitness facility's advertisement for an introductory pickleball clinic that happened to fit into her busy schedule. So, she went - and the rest is history. 

Tera really enjoys the physical and mental aspects of the game. As she says, "Pickleball never gets boring. There is always a new skill to learn and a strategy to employ."

The best place to meet Tera, is on the courts of the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown. She has been instrumental in organizing events on Sunday afternoons. Most events are designed to meet specific skill levels, such as Round Robin 'tournaments', DUPR matches, and King/Queen of the Hill challenges.

Outside of work, Tera enjoys playing piano and guitar and spending time with her family - husband, Joe, and three children, Bethany, Meredith and Charlie. She also adores her furry friend, a golden retriever named Finley.
