Who cares for your kids when you have to work and your kids’ school is closed?

Send them to the YMCA for School Break Care!

Every branch that offers Before and After School Care – Brandywine YMCA, Jennersville YMCA, Kennett Area YMCA, Octorara YMCA Program Center and Oskar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center - provides an option for “Y Days” during the school year. When school is closed your children can be cared for at the Y. Many Y Days are scheduled, but they are also available when unexpected issues arise such as weather-related school closings.

Additionally, the Upper Main Line YMCA (UMLY) and West Chester Area YMCA offer school break care for students ages five to 12 years.

Programs include activities such as games, swimming, academic challenges, movies, sports and crafts. UMLY also has a School’s Out Eco-Club, during which feeding and caring for animals, learning about gardening and exploring the Cassat Preserve (part of the 54-acre property) are among the activities.
