June 7: Learn to Ride at Kennett YMCA and Iron Impact Challenge – 1:00-3:00pm All proceeds go towards YGBW Annual Campaign. The Iron Impact Challenge is a high-energy strength competition where participants test their skills in bench press/pushup, squat, and pull-ups/plank. Designed for all fitness levels, the event focuses on safe lifting, personal growth, and friendly competition.

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine and EmpowerU Specialty Fitness teamed up to run an event with YGBW's new mobile gym, the Fit Truk, for the Chester County Special Olympics team.

By partnering with local governments, schools, and nonprofit organizations, we bring no-cost and low-cost fitness programs to low-income communities, senior centers, and individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and long-term health
Supporting Youth Development
The Fit Truk serves as a mobile wellness hub for schools, after-school programs, and youth organizations—offering physical education, sports training, and wellness education to encourage healthy habits from an early age.
Strengthening Corporate & Community Partnerships
The Fit Truk works with local businesses, municipalities and healthcare providers to support workplace wellness programs, public health initiatives, and community events—helping to foster a culture of health and well-being across the region.
